Off course you can, but you will need to do some work in math and basic IT. Fortunately this is easy to do today with a plethora of high quality online, and often free (or very reasonably priced) courses for you to complete. Checkout the various options at https://www.coursera.org/, http://www.skillshare.com, https://www.linkedin.com/learning/, and http://www.Udemy.com. https://www.khanacademy.org is a good platform for Math.

Hello,
I have a bachelor’s degree in English. I am good at writing and editing. However, most of the jobs that I can apply for involve work from home. I have done WFH jobs and realized that I do not thrive in a work-from-home environment. Can you suggest possible career avenues that will not involve work from home? I could, of course, go into journalism but I don’t feel it is a right fit for me.

Hi everyone,
I have been a consultant in IT performance testing for 4 years, I resigned from my post due to several factors the low renumeration, the boredom I did all the missions with the clients, the impossibility of evolution towards a position with more responsibility allowing to build competence in project management and management.
It interests me a lot to develop my skills on its aspects and not to stay only on the post of technical consultant which does not allow to have the macro view.
So after my resignation, I applied for several positions with more responsibility,
knowing that I had trained apprentices in the past, but the feedback of recruiters is all the time that I was not in a similar position before and they always offer me a consultant position corresponding to my experience.
How do I do it, I have the impression of going in circles, I want to make this pat towards the position which associates the technique and the management or the management alone, but with the current situation and the reasoning of the recruiters, I will remain in the whole technique. my life, could you offer me solutions please?
thanks in advance

I’m Soumi, currently I’m working as a Digital Marketing Executive. My age is 29. I completed MCA in 2017. Then due to family financial problems, I choose Digital Marketing as a career option, and after passing I did not get a good coding job. But now I’m learning Software testing. I want to change my career from digital marketer to software tester. Is this a good decision.

Despite many obstacles and struggles, I graduated from Hindi-medium. I began my career as a telecollection executive at an outbound agency of airtel, and when I left the job a few years later, I was team leader at Retention department.
My next job was in the Corporate Collections Department at Tata Communications as Corporate Relations Executive.
In my current job, I oversee a small team of customer service representatives for a retail company that sells travel accessories and electronic products.
In my role, I manage complaints (on-call, walk-in customers, and emails), team training and bulk sales (proposals, price quotations, and negotiations closing deals) as well as coordinating with other departments.
The problem is I do not understand what my niche and industry are? As a result, my resume is unclear and does not get shortlisted, and secondly, in what industry should I work next?
As of now, I have worked with ECRM, ERP, SAP, Arbor, OM, and I am quite proficient with MS Office.

Hi,
I’m 28 years old and have been working in the banking system in the last 6 years, out of which the last 4 as a Financial Analyst in an italian bank. In the last period there was a lot of stress and the atmosphere also became unpleasant, with inequalities in the workload.
Recently I changed my job to a Financial Analyst in a RPA company (IT software industry), mostly because of the fame of the company, even thought I heard from people inside that there was no work/life balance. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m completely miserable, my boss doesn’t make time for me to show me anything, he simply throws very ambiguos tasks at me with very little directions, drags me in calls with higher management without explaining the purpose, has passive agressive comments in calls towards the company and newcomers. I tried to ask as many questions as possible but he simply doesn’t reply or replies only partially, he doesn’t share important files but then asks me if I went through them. There are 2 more colleagues who are also very busy, working until 3 am, but they actually managed to explain clearly a few processes and are nice. They were surprised of the tasks my manager gave me.
Another difficult aspect is the program itself. I should finish at 7 pm, but because of the time zones, most days I have to stay until 8-9 pm (technically my boss starts at 4 pm my time, but somehow he schedules most calls after 7).
I feel blocked, unmotivated and like a failure, which has started to impact my personal life a lot. I recently applied to a few bank jobs.
What should I do? Sorry about the long post and thank you so much in advance.
